Curriculum Deep-Dives with Day of AI
Day of AI delivers foundational and advanced units in AI education through a specialized model designed for the modern classroom. This initiative supports educators to move beyond basic tech literacy by providing in-depth curriculum knowledge and a supportive professional network.
By focusing on both intensive cohort learning and broader community engagement, Day of AI supports AI implementation that is both successful and sustainable.
Program Pathway
Day of AI provides a two-part program pathway:
- Part 1: Curriculum Deep-dives (8 live, virtual program hours)
- Part 2: Community of Practice (must attend 3 out of 5 sessions to earn a certificate)
The courses go sequentially in order, with the introductory opportunity being Curriculum Deep-dives. Teachers can then choose to further advance their knowledge through the train-the-trainer series. Trainers can then join the Community of Practice.

Educator Experience
Educators will participate in cohort-based virtual professional learning experiences designed to build confidence to implement AI curriculum directly in high school classrooms.
Through curriculum deep dives, participants will explore open-source AI instructional units, review high school curriculum materials in advance, and prepare to deliver the content during the year. Training emphasizes classroom-ready instructional models, peer collaboration, and sustainable adoption of AI coursework.
Participants will also have the opportunity to continue learning through a Community of Practice designed to support ongoing educator collaboration, implementation reflection, and exploration of emerging AI topics.
By the End of This Cohort, Learners Will Be Able To
- Explore foundational and advanced AI instructional units.
- Prepare to deliver Day of AI curriculum during the year.
- Implement classroom-ready AI instructional models.
- Collaborate with peers on implementation strategies.
- Reflect on implementation and emerging AI topics.
- Submit an implementation reflection or instructional artifact.
