AWS Academy has partnered with NAAIC to empower community college faculty with AI-related training and resources. Through this collaboration, AWS Academy provides community colleges with:

Prebuilt courses covering foundational and advanced AWS topics from cloud fundamentals to AI/ML applications. All materials include:

Lecture slides and instructor guides

Hands-on lab exercises using select AWS services

Assessments aligned with certification exam objectives

The curriculum maps to AWS AI Practitioner, AWS Certified Machine Learning – Specialty, and other in-demand credentials ensuring graduates obtain recognized industry certifications.

Skills to Jobs Tech Alliance

The AWS Skills to Jobs Tech Alliance is a global initiative that addresses the skills gap and prepares learners for in-demand tech-enabled jobs. The Tech Alliance works backward from employer needs, building industry-aligned, future-proof skilling pathways to empower learners with cloud, emerging technologies, and job readiness skills.

Established in 2023, Skills to Jobs has cultivated partnerships with employers, governments, academic institutions, private skilling providers and public sector agencies across multiple countries.

AWS Builder Center

The AWS Builder Center is a free community platform that gives educators and students hands-on access to AI and cloud learning resources. Built around three pillars — Learn, Connect, and Build — the platform provides everything needed to develop applied AI skills, engage with a global community of builders, and showcase real-world projects.

For Educators


The Builder Center helps faculty stay current with the tools and technologies shaping the AI industry. Educators can:

access 330+ self-paced courses in generative AI, machine learning, and cloud services

curate resources for their syllabi

join topic-focused community groups, called Spaces, covering areas like AI, security, and Amazon Bedrock

publish articles, and submit feedback directly to AWS product teams

For Students


The Builder Center serves as both a learning platform and a career accelerator. Students can complete hands-on workshops from Level 100 to Level 400, experiment with open-source tools through the Toolbox, and deploy real applications. Projects can be published to a public profile, creating a tangible portfolio for employers.

Machine Learning University (MLU)

AWS Machine Learning University (MLU) is a free initiative that expands access to Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning education through its educator enablement program, specifically designed to help community colleges increase their teaching capacity and deliver AI/ML course content.
