AWS Academy has partnered with the NAAIC to empower community college faculty with AI-related training and resources. Through this collaboration, AWS Academy provides community colleges with:

Turnkey Curriculum
Prebuilt courses covering foundational and advanced AWS topics from cloud fundamentals to AI/ML applications. All materials include:
Lecture slides and instructor guides
Hands-on lab exercises using select AWS services
Assessments aligned with certification exam objectives
Pathway to Certifications
The curriculum maps to AWS AI Practitioner, AWS Certified Machine Learning – Specialty, and other in-demand credentials ensuring graduates obtain recognized industry certifications.
Faculty Development Workshops
Special sessions led by AWS experts to help instructors guide students through AI Practitioner coursework, troubleshoot lab environments, and tailor exercises to local workforce needs.
Resources
Subscription to AWS Skill Builder for 1 year. AWS Skill Builder offers hundreds of free digital courses tailored to roles across the technology spectrum, as well as test prep and vouchers for AWS certifications.

AWS Machine Learning University (MLU)
AWS Machine Learning University (MLU) is a free initiative that expands access to Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning education through its educator enablement program, specifically designed to help community colleges increase their teaching capacity and deliver AI/ML course content.
Resources include:
Open-source educational content from Amazon's own AI/ML employee training about Gen AI and ML topics
Regular content releases on YouTube and GitHub
Opportunities for hands-on technical training and peer collaboration

Skills to Jobs AI Entry Pathways
The AWS Skills to Jobs Tech Alliance is a global initiative that addresses the skills gap and prepares learners for in-demand tech-enabled jobs. The Tech Alliance works backwards from employer needs, building industry-aligned, future-proof skilling pathways to empower learners with cloud, emerging technologies, and job readiness skills. Established in 2023, Skills to Jobs has cultivated partnerships with employers, governments, academic institutions, private skilling providers and public sector agencies across multiple countries.
