This 4-week cohort introduces adult learners to the transformative role of Artificial Intelligence in healthcare. Through real-world use cases, interactive modules, and practical exercises, participants will examine how AI enhances patient care, streamlines operational efficiency, enables smarter data management, and reduces clinical errors.

The program culminates in a practical project where participants design an AI-supported solution for a public health organization, providing valuable, real-world skills applicable across modern health and technology sectors.

What You’ll Learn

By the end of this cohort, you will be able to:

  • Understand AI Applications in Healthcare: Explain the core roles, benefits, and real-world use cases of AI in clinical and operational settings.
  • Evaluate Responsible & Ethical AI: Assess healthcare AI solutions for fairness, transparency, accountability, and ethical integrity.
  • Navigate Risk & Data Security: Identify critical risks related to AI adoption, health data privacy, and regulatory compliance.
  • Utilize Generative AI & Prompt Engineering: Apply prompt engineering techniques to analyze patient feedback, generate actionable insights, and refine patient-centered communications.
  • Design Practical Health Solutions: Develop AI-supported strategies to improve service quality, patient experience, and overall healthcare outcomes.

1. Warm-up & Recommended Learning (Optional)

  • Responsible & Ethical AI Practices: A foundational course exploring key principles (fairness, accountability, privacy, and trustworthiness) essential for healthcare applications.

2. Core Curriculum Sections

  • Patient Experience and Access (3 Modules)
  • Live Session Recordings & PDF Content (1 Module)
  • Clinical Documentation & Health Information Management (3 Modules)
