IBM SkillsBuild: Applied AI Agents, Chatbots & RAG

This Agentic AI, Chatbot, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) course is designed for learners who already have a foundational understanding of Artificial Intelligence concepts. The course offers a structured introduction to building intelligent, autonomous AI systems that can reason, retrieve information, and interact effectively with users in real-world scenarios. At the end of this experience, learners will earn an IBM SkillsBuild credential recognizing their knowledge in core concepts like AI agents, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and multiagent systems.
By the end of this cohort, learners will be able to:
- Understand core concepts of Agentic AI, chatbots, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
- Apply Generative AI responsibly, considering ethics, privacy, security, and bias
- Design effective prompts for LLMs, chatbots, and agent-based systems
- Build prompt templates and workflows with variables for dynamic AI outputs
- Develop and evaluate RAG pipelines using external knowledge sources
- Create and test chatbots and AI agents through hands-on practical exercises
- Integrate Agentic AI, chatbots, and RAG into real-world professional workflows
