IBM SkillsBuild: Prompt Craft and AI Interaction

Learners will get hands-on experience with Prompt engineering, learning how to design, refine, and optimize prompts to generate accurate, relevant, and high-quality outputs from AI models. Through practical exercises and guided labs, participants will explore how Generative AI can be used to enhance productivity, creativity, and problem-solving across various domains.

Upon successful completion, participants will earn two digital credentials along with one optional credential, recognizing their knowledge of Generative AI fundamentals and their ability to apply prompt engineering techniques in real-world use cases.

By the end of this cohort, learners will be able to:

• Understand core concepts and fundamentals of Generative AI
• Apply Generative AI responsibly, considering ethics, privacy, and bias
• Write prompts to generate specific output from LLMs
• Develop prompt templates with variables to generate output from LLMs
• Apply prompt engineering techniques to generate accurate and relevant outputs.
• Use Generative AI tools through hands-on practical exercises
• Integrate Generative AI into real-world professional workflows
