Info Session: Intel AI Global Impact Festival
The National Applied AI Consortium (NAAIC) is kicked off 2026 with a special information session in partnership with Intel to introduce educators to the Intel AI Global Impact Festival a worldwide celebration of student-driven AI innovation. This session is designed to help faculty, mentors, and staff support students as they showcase their ideas as AI Changemakers on a global stage.
Participants receive a full walkthrough of the 2026 competition structure, including age categories (13–17 and 18+), key deadlines, and submission requirements from project descriptions and 2-minute videos to Intel’s official submission forms.
The session also covered:
- Judging criteria: Impact & Inclusion, AI Innovation, and Use of Intel Technology
- Examples of past award-winning projects, including AI solutions for healthcare triage and audio-based learning
- Where to access Intel’s free tools, webinars, and resources to support student project development
- Practical strategies to guide students from idea to submission with confidence
Whether students are just beginning to explore AI or ready to develop competitive projects, this session will equip educators with the knowledge and resources to support them every step of the way.
