Microsoft Copilot Agents Workshop for Community College Faculty
AI agents offer a new way for faculty to streamline and enhance recurring academic tasks. In this interactive 75-minute workshop, community college educators will learn how Microsoft Copilot Chat agents can support teaching and administrative workflows. Participants will explore how agents differ from traditional prompting, when an agent is the right solution, and how thoughtfully designed agents can provide more consistent, reliable, and context-aware support.
Using Agent Builder in Copilot Chat, participants will build an agent while learning how to define its purpose, instructions, knowledge sources, tone, and guardrails. Through guided activities, participants will test and refine their agent, develop a practical understanding of the agent-building process, and identify opportunities to apply agents to their own teaching and professional workflows.
