About the Conference
The National Applied AI Consortium's AI Summit, hosted by Miami Dade College, is designed for faculty and administrators, industry practitioners and policymakers interested in building the U.S. AI workforce pipeline through community colleges.
The summit will also feature hands-on training for faculty interested in teaching AI, with opportunities to earn certifications that support career growth and program development. To support faculty participation, a travel stipend is available for full-time faculty from community colleges.

Faculty Travel Stipend
NAAIC is committed to ensuring equitable access to high-impact learning and networking. To remove financial barriers for community college faculty, we offer a $1,000 travel stipend to support their participation in the AI Summit 2026. Stipends will be awarded to faculty who meet the eligibility criteria, subject to the availability of funds.
Eligibility Criteria:
Be full-time faculty at a U.S. accredited community college
Currently teach (or plan to teach) AI credit-bearing courses in 2026
Reside 100+ miles from the conference location
Physically attend the 2 days of the AI Summit
Participate and complete a designated faculty training during the AI Summit.
