About the Conference
The National Applied AI Consortium's AI Summit, hosted by Miami Dade College, is designed for faculty and administrators, industry practitioners and policymakers interested in building the U.S. AI workforce pipeline through community colleges.

Faculty Travel Stipend
NAAIC is committed to ensuring equitable access to high-impact learning and networking. To remove financial barriers for community college faculty, we offer a $1,000 travel stipend to support their participation in the AI Summit 2026. Stipends will be awarded to faculty who meet the eligibility criteria, subject to the availability of funds.
Eligibility Criteria:
• Be full-time faculty at a U.S. accredited community college
• Currently teach (or plan to teach) AI credit-bearing courses in 2026
• Reside 100+ miles from the conference location
• Physically attend the 2 days of the AI Summit
• Participate and complete one of the following faculty training sessions during the AI Summit:
- Microsoft AI-900 bootcamp
- Google Generative AI Leader
- Intel’s AI for Workforce
Timeline
Application deadline: December 1, 2025.
Acceptance notification: December 12, 2025.

Note: faculty from Miami Dade College, Maricopa Community Colleges and Houston City College are not eligible to apply for the faculty travel stipend. Employees from these institutions should contact the NAAIC PI at their institution for more information about attending the AI Summit.
