AI for Accessibility (Intel)
Course on deploying AI to address accessibility challenges. Students will explore AI principles and their practical application in fostering inclusivity and empowerment.
This course, developed by Intel’s AI for Workforce program, examines the pragmatic deployment of artificial intelligence (AI) in addressing accessibility challenges. Students will explore fundamental Al principles by systematically diving into 4 aspects of accessibility. These aspects are Identification/Screening, Accommodations, Quality of Life and Economic Empowerment, and Access to Remediation & Treatment. Emphasis is placed on the practical application of Al to foster inclusivity and societal empowerment within the context of accessibility.
