NAAIC Newsletter November 2024

Since our launch in October 2024, over 1,000 community college faculty, administrators, and industry partners have joined our newsletter, demonstrating the collective enthusiasm for advancing AI education and workforce readiness. Additionally, over 200 faculty members from 100institutions applied for the Microsoft AI Bootcamp training, showing a strong national commitment to gaining practical AI skills. We’ve also received applications from more than 30 colleges seeking mentorship to develop AI degrees, and we’re proud to welcome 16 esteemed AI subject matter experts as inaugural members of the Consortium’s Business Industry Leadership Team. Leading this national effort in AI workforce preparation is a thrilling journey, and we are grateful for your active participation.

Looking forward to November 2024, we are excited to announce two new initiatives launching this month: a Community of Practice for AI faculty and a partnership with Google to further expand our professional development offerings nationwide.
