NAAIC Selected by NSF to Showcase AI Workforce Innovation at AI + Expo
We are honored that the National Applied AI Consortium has been selected by the National Science Foundation (NSF) to showcase NSF’s investments in the next generation of AI innovators at the AI + Expo in Washington, DC, taking place May 7–9. At the Expo, we will represent community college efforts in applied AI education and workforce development through faculty training, curriculum design, and accessible learning resources that help prepare students and professionals for emerging AI careers.
We are proud to highlight our work building connections among academic institutions, industry partners, and educators to align AI education with workforce needs and expand national pathways into AI careers. This recognition reflects the growing importance of collaborative, workforce-centered AI education models that support innovation, economic growth, and expanded access to AI learning opportunities across the country.
Our participation at the AI Expo underscores NSF ATE’s commitment to advancing scalable and inclusive approaches to AI education while preparing the next generation of AI talent and leadership.
